Ski Afghanistan: Film Screening of “Champions of the Golden Valley”

The documentary film “Champions of the Golden Valley” follows an unlikely group of young Afghan skiers chasing their passion amidst a harsh landscape and political upheaval.
Since its world premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, “Champions” has screened at more than 60 film festivals and was recently acquired by Olympics.com.
Join us for a screening of this film focused on exploring your inner champion. Afterwards, stay for a conversation with Sam Siddiqi who leads Afghan Peaks, a nonprofit organization working to develop the mountains of Afghanistan.
You will also be invited to enjoy traditional Afghan sweets! Tickets are $20.
