New to sewing machines or feeling a little unsure around one? This beginner-friendly class is designed to help you feel confident using a sewing machine from start to finish.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of machine sewing, including how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, adjust tension, select stitches, and sew safely. We’ll also cover common troubleshooting tips so you can avoid frustration and keep sewing smoothly.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Parts of a sewing machine and what they do
  • Threading the machine and bobbin
  • Stitch selection and basic settings
  • Sewing straight seams and simple practice stitches

Perfect for absolute beginners or anyone who’s inherited a machine and never quite learned how to use it. No prior experience required! Machines and materials provided (or bring your own—if applicable)
