Writing Workshop: Origin Stories
February 27 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
$45
Who are you? What are the key experiences, relationships and forces that have shaped you over time?
In this writing class led by award-winning poet and teacher Dilruba Ahmed, participants will unpack “origin stories” that weave unique and layered identities using narrative and figurative strategies. They will then write together using creative prompts, taking inspiration from class examples.
This class is open to ALL writers of prose and poetry, regardless of experience. Come prepared to write!
Dilruba Ahmed is most recently the author of the poetry collection, “Bring Now the Angels.” Her poems have been featured in The New York Times Magazine, The Slowdown, and Poetry Unbound among many other publications.
