The Arts are Alive in Delco, and the Park Ave Community Center is proud to participate in the Delco Arts Spring Fling!

On April 30, come explore the spaces of the Park Avenue Community Center and engage in an array of events and activities curated to delight and inspire.  The CommuniTEA room will be open to enjoy lunch available for purchase from Shutdown BBQ, listen to music and talk with friends. There will be opportunities to dance, make music, create art and even learn the secrets of the best chocolate chip cookies.  This is a fundraiser for the PAC Center. 

Admission is free, but a goodwill offering will be accepted at the door.

**You are welcome to stop in anytime throughout the day for any event.  Although registration is not required in some cases space is limited.  Admission to limited space events will be given to those who signed up before walk-ins are permitted.

9:00 – 9:45 am Morning Yoga + Mimosas with Mary Thompson (ages adult 21+). Registration recommended; space limited to 30.

9:00-10:00 am – “Good Morning Spring YogAmi” with Allison DeSalvo (drop off ages 4-11). Registration recommended; space is limited to 20.

9:00 – 9:45 Real Self Workshop – with Nancy Martin (teens). Registration recommended space is limited to 15

9:00 am – 3:00 pm Musical Instrument “petting zoo” – with Keep Music Alive

9:00 am – 4:00 pm Community Portraits with Andy Shelter (all ages)

10:15 – 11:00 am Dance Me A Story with Lisa Oster “Bunny Hop” (ages 18 mos.-5 years with a caregiver.) Registration Recommended, space is limited to 20.

11:00 – 12:00 Fundamental Rhythms Workshop with Philadelphia’s Hip Hop Fundamentals- ages K-12th grades.  Limited to 25 participants Registration required.

11:00 – 1:00 Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Demonstration  With Julie Sloane (12 + younger children welcome accompanied by an adult)

11:30-1:00 pm  PAC’s Playroom with Allison DeSalvo

11:00 – 3:00 Lunch on the Lawn with Shutdown Burgers

12:30 – 2:30  All ages Art Project with Quincy Carpenter

1:00 – 2:00 Intergenerational Theatre Games Workshop with Teri Lamm – Theatre (12+). Registration recommended space is limited to 15.

2:00-3:00 pm Hogwarts Hall @ PAC with The Creative Living Room (grades 1 – 5). Registration Recommended space is limited to 20.

2:00 – 3:00 pm Dance Fitness with Ann Cole (teens and adults). Registration space is limited to 30

3:00 – 4:00 pm Rock Out with Rockdale School  All Ages welcome.
