Tim Kearney is an architect, designer, and public servant whose work has been guided by a simple belief:thoughtfully designed spaces can strengthen communities and improve lives. As Design Principal ofCuetoKEARNEYdesign in Swarthmore, he has spent more than three decades creating places where peoplegather, learn, perform, and connect.
Tim’s portfolio reflects both artistic vision and civic purpose. His work includes concert halls, music centers,university buildings, firehouses, private homes, and community spaces, each designed with a deep respect for thepeople who will inhabit them. Before founding CuetoKEARNEYdesign, he spent 16 years with the internationallyacclaimed architecture firm Venturi Scott Brown, contributing to projects for the Philadelphia Orchestra, the WaltDisney Company, and the Camden Children’s Garden.
A passionate advocate for sustainable design, Tim has championed environmentally responsible architecturethroughout his career. His firm’s award-worthy work includes innovative projects such as a Net Zero home inSwarthmore and the Passivhaus-inspired Reservoir House in Upper Providence, demonstrating how beauty,functionality, and environmental stewardship can coexist.
