Reverend Chris was born in Boston and raised in Philadelphia. As a teenager, he moved to New Orleans and honed his sound playing and touring with some of the true legends of New Orleans music like Joe Krown and Walter “Wolfman” Washington. After Hurricane Katrina, Reverend Chris relocated back to Philadelphia where he has wowed audiences with his incredible amalgam of jazz, rhythm & blues and New Orleans swinging funk. Performing solo and with his band the High Rollers, he has been a fixture on the Philly music scene for more than fifteen years.
