Come party like it’s 1699 with the next installment of the Park Avenue Concert Series!
Park Avenue Baroque takes center stage at the PAC Center on Sunday, January 19, celebrating music by classic Baroque composers. This music is meant to be heard close-up in the manner our audiences in the Great Hall always experience with these performances.
Musicians will include Park Avenue Concerts Artistic Director and Juilliard faculty cellist Amy Sue Barston; Philadelphia Orchestra violinists (and Park Avenue Concert Series regulars) Marc Rovetti and Dara Morales; and harpsichordist Charles Abramovic, a Swarthmore resident and a world-renowned keyboardist.
At the conclusion of the concert, local string players from all walks of life will join together with the star performers for a rousing performance of Bach’s vigorous Double Concerto.
The one-hour performance is followed by a reception with the artists. Tickets are $25 adult/$10 student.
