Park Avenue Concert Series: Brahms & Beethoven

Park Avenue Concerts concludes its 2025-2026 season with “Sextet in B-flat major, Op. 18,” one of Johannes Brahms’ most radiant chamber works.
The Park Avenue Chamber Ensemble will also perform Beethoven’s lighthearted yet lyrical “Duet with Two Obligatory Eyeglasses”.
The performance features distinguished musicians from The Philadelphia Orchestra, joining Park Avenue Concerts’ director, Juilliard faculty cellist Amy Sue Barston, in a collaboration that continues to bring world-class artistry to the community.
The musicians are:
Christine Lim, violin; Marc Rovetti, violin; Kirsten Johnson, viola; Burchard Tang, viola; Amy Sue Barston, cello; Priscilla Lee, cello
After the performance, there will be an informal wine-and-cheese reception with the musicians. Tickets are $25 adults/$15 students
