The Park Avenue Community Center invites you to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us on May 5th from 5:30-7pm! This family friendly event is a creative arts enrichment opportunity that will foster cultural awareness for the whole family. We will be joined by community partners The Creative Living Room and Allison DeSalvo’s World of Song.

Geared for families with kids 2-10, this event is open to all ages. Reservations are appreciated; pay-what-you-will at the door. Holiday traditions will be brought to life through interactive activities such as learning a classic Mexican step-dance, making tissue paper flowers and colorful maracas, rolling tacos to eat along with chips and salsa, and experiencing storytelling and Spanish music with special guest bilingual educator, Jennifer Mendez. We will also have a piñata filled with take home treats and a dance party!

This event is a great way to learn about and celebrate a cherished holiday with your family and community. We hope to see you there!
