Death is a universal fate we all must accept yet it is a topic that causes most of us discomfort to talk or even think about.

The concept of so-called Death Cafes aims to change that, providing a space to freely voice one’s thoughts or fears about dying to help ease anxiety and ultimately lead to a renewed vigor for life.

The PAC Center will host the first of a series of Death Cafes, moderated by end-of-life doula Kim Schmucki.
