Walk in the footsteps of our Lenape Delaware ancestors and connect past to present in “Lenape Lifeways,” a celebration of Native American Heritage Month for the whole family — filled with stories, traditional dances, a touch-and-feel exhibit, crafting and food tasting!

Carla Messinger, a descendant of the Lenape Turtle Clan and cultural heritage historian and educator leads this special event as part of our popular Family Live Arts Cultural Series.

Children will engage with authentic Lenape artifacts, learn dances, make traditional crafts, learn Lenape words and snack on foods with Native American origins.

This event is geared for families with children from two to 12 years old. It is pay-what-you-wish but suggested donations are $20 per family/$5 per person. Please RSVP at the link below.
