SUMMARY:Songs at Sunset: Casals-Simmons Duo
DESCRIPTION:Art Song. Folk Song. Storytelling. \nBring a lawn chair. Stay for the music. Leave inspired by a sunset journey from Broadway and Brazil to Spain\, the Caribbean\, and beyond. \nThe evening features the Casals-Simmons Duo\, showcasing Havertown’s own versatile soprano Lizette Casals alongside classical guitarist Michael Simmons. Together\, they will deliver a stunning performance blending voice and classical guitar under the open sky. \n\nThis community event is proudly sponsored by the Mindful Arts Co-op. M.A.C. is a fantastic local non-profit dedicated to building community connection and personal growth through the expressive arts. The concert will take place at TigerLily—a beautiful\, versatile outdoor space in the heart of Havertown that M.A.C co-developed alongside Main Line Therapeutic to bring more arts and wellness experiences to our area. \nWhat to bring: This is a fully outdoor venue\, so please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to get comfortable on the lawn! \nAdmission: FREE! (Donations to support M.A.C.’s non-profit community arts programming are greatly appreciated). \nMore Information
