DESCRIPTION:Shelly awakes from a minimally conscious state after 16 years. One day\, she is thirty-four with a home\, husband\, and a nine-year-old daughter. The next day she is fifty. Her husband and daughter have moved on with their lives – or have they? Her passions are exploring personal truths and creating strong roles for women. She is the Philadelphia Regional Dramatist Guild Representative and a founder of the Media Arts Council Play Reading Series. Julie’s plays have been produced and read throughout the United States. Recent recognitions: Finalist\, Terrence McNally Award; Two times Semi Finalist\, O’Neill National Playwrights Conference; Finalist\, Henley Rose Playwriting Contest; Finalist\, Veterans Repertory Theatre; Winner\, Best Production\, Pittsburgh New Work Festival; Winner\, Best New Work\, What if Productions.
