SUMMARY:Meredith Sellers: Window/Frame
DESCRIPTION:On View October 26–December 4\, 2026 \nThe Art Gallery at Delaware County Community College is pleased to present “Meredith Sellers: Window/Frame” as its annual contemporary exhibition. “Window/Frame” showcases Sellers’ decade-long examination of the window as an artistic\, digital\, and physical space. European Renaissance artists compared paintings to windows through which viewers could perceive the world. Sellers connects this theory to its contemporary equivalent: the digital “windows” of smartphones. Within paintings sized to replicate specific windows from her daily life\, Sellers layers rectangles of art historical images\, news media\, and stock photography. These fragments float across each composition like pop-up ads\, recreating the glut of images that flood our social media feeds and Google searches. Just as our constant scrolling produces incidental comparisons\, Sellers invites her viewers to create imaginary dialogues between the seemingly unrelated references within her paintings. DESCRIPTION:Music Open Mic Night – Singers\, Musicians and Listeners Welcome \nMusic Open Mic Night happens the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Event hours from 6PM to 9PM.  Sign ups begin at 6PM at the door. \nPlease note this night is for music only. There are other events at the Kelly Center for comedy and other types of performances. \nCome out to listen\, bring your instrument or sing to your backing track. Microphones and PA provided.  We also have a Keyboard\, Guitar\, and Drum Kit available.  We limit the number of signups to ensure each act gets two songs. DESCRIPTION:Twice a month\, fans of bluegrass music can enjoy – and participate in making – this traditional acoustic music. The Kelly Center Bluegrass Jam is hosted by Alfred Poor and scheduled for the first and third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9 PM\, and all are welcome. \nA “jam” is an open session where musicians can gather to play music\, where everyone has a turn to call the tune and everyone gets to play along. DESCRIPTION:Music Open Mic Night – Singers\, Musicians and Listeners Welcome \nMusic Open Mic Night happens the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Event hours from 6PM to 9PM.  Sign ups begin at 6PM at the door. \nPlease note this night is for music only. There are other events at the Kelly Center for comedy and other types of performances. \nCome out to listen\, bring your instrument or sing to your backing track. Microphones and PA provided.  We also have a Keyboard\, Guitar\, and Drum Kit available.  We limit the number of signups to ensure each act gets two songs. You may want to arrive closer to 6:00 to be sure you get a slot.  House band is normally available to back you up if you wish. \nFREE admission for all.   A modest donation by performers and audience members is less than you might spend on a drink or two at the bar or a coffee at Starbucks and helps offset the cost of operating the building. \nMore Information

Along the way\, he shares his favorite professional tips and tricks to help every young artist grow in confidence and skill. \nDROP-IN OPTION: If you are unable to commit to the full session\, there is a “drop-in” studio option\, Select the dates that work for you and drop-on-in.
