DESCRIPTION:Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man\, Grofé’s Grand Canyon Suite\, Griffes Songs with Lisa Willson DeNolfo\, and Respighi’s Pines of Rome! \n\n\n\n\nThis program features some brilliant orchestral favorites. Celebrating American creativity\, it opens Aaron Copland’s solemn Fanfare for the Common Man\, and features the viscerally expressive depiction of the Grand Canyon in Ferde Grofé’s immortal 1931 five-movement suite. \nWe’re thrilled to welcome Lisa Willson DeNolfo for a fourth performance with the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra\, a testament wo how beloved her voice has become to LSO audiences. American impressionist Charles T.
