SUMMARY:The Tressels "Prison Wine" 20th Anniversary Show
DESCRIPTION:The Tressels – The Tressels turn personal and professional tragedies into earnest anthems about hope\, addiction\, betrayal\, and regret. Played by lifelong friends who still believe rock & roll is a noble pursuit\, the band has been a fixture of the Philadelphia and Delco music scenes for over two decades. \nThe Sparklers –  A loud\, melodic trio from Philadelphia\, Pennsylvania – punch-drunk romantics playing gutter pop and junk country\, but it’s really just Rock ’n’ Roll.\nContinuing a tradition of love songs directed at anyone other than the ones they love\, their new album Miss Philadelphia would fit well next to records by songwriters named Westerberg\, Mould\, or Strummer. Their combination of “heart on the sleeve” lyrics\, anthemic guitars\, and driving rhythms create a sound even larger than the City of Brotherly Love that inspired it. \nQuarry  – Formed in 2024 by drummer Dave Adoff\, bassist Kyle Allred\, and guitarist Chris Woodhead\, Quarry combines 90’s indie rock\, twangy Americana\, and heartfelt punk to create an engaging rock n’ roll sound. Guitarist Dennis Prendergast was brought on board in late 2025 to help create a more dynamic live experience. The band is currently working on their debut full-length to be released in summer 2026. \nMore Information

SUMMARY:Folk Brunch with The John Byrne Band and Cameron Brooks
DESCRIPTION:The John Byrne Band –  The John Byrne Band is led by Dublin native and Philadelphia-based John Byrne. Their debut album\, After the Wake\, was released to critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic in 2011. With influences ranging from Tom Waits to Planxty\, John’s songwriting honors and expands upon the musical and lyrical traditions of his native and adopted homes. John and the band followed up After the Wake in early 2013 with an album of Celtic and American traditional tunes. The album\, Celtic/Folk\, pushed the band on to the FolkDJ Charts\, reaching number 36 in May 2015. Their third release\, another collection of John Byrne originals\, entitled “The Immigrant and the Orphan”\, was released in Sept 2015. The album\, once again\, draws heavily on John’s love of Americana and Celtic Folk music and with the support of DJs around the country entered the FolkDJ Charts at number 40. \nCameron Brooks  –  A folk singer-songwriter based in Philadelphia. Founded on lyrical storytelling\, his work explores the nuanced range of the human experience. \nMore Information

SUMMARY:Mile Zero/Astrophels/Alright Junior
DESCRIPTION:Alright Junior – A rare alternative rock band that is both fiercely technical and emotionally immediate. Their sound blends driving rhythms\, turbulent dynamics\, evoking lyrics\, and melodic urgency into something unmistakably their own\, equal parts intensity and finesse. Each member brings a sharpened musicianship that elevates their live shows into kinetic\, high-energy experiences that feel larger than the room. \nAstrophels- Philadelphia trio Astrophels is the heaviest band at the indie show and the softest band at the metal show. Their sound serves melodic lyrics-forward vocals on top of hard-hitting drums and bass; filling the space with guitars that shift from ambient to heavy as needed. \nMile Zero-  Heavy Alt Rock from Philly \nMore Information

SUMMARY:The Ruta Beggars + Wood Flower
DESCRIPTION:The Ruta Beggars – Appealing to traditional and progressive acoustic music fans alike\, The Ruta Beggars combine bluegrass and early swing to create a timeless act filled with intricate vocal harmonies\, fiery instrumentals\, and plenty of fun. They have been praised for their creative yet tasteful arrangements and charming performances. Since 2018 they have brought the joy of their live show to audiences across the US and Canada from festival stages to storied folk listening rooms and as support for legacy acts Lyle Lovett and Ricky Skaggs. The Ruta Beggars are 2019 Thomas Point band competition winners\, 2023 IBMA official showcasing artists\, Freshgrass Foundation commissioned composers\, Freshgrass Award finalists\, and Skyline Records artists. \nBest-of-friends since their inception\, The Ruta Beggars are Micah Nicol (guitar)\, Trevin Nelson (banjo)\, Noah Harrington (bass)\, Sam Stage (fiddle)\, and Jean-Baptiste Cardineau (mandolin)\, who met through studying in Berklee College of Music’s American Roots Program. \nWood Flower – A combination of tight harmonies\, driving banjo\, soulful mandolin\, ripping twin guitars all supported by a solid bass line are highlights that define this up-and-coming Bluegrass band. Their unique yet traditional approach to Bluegrass music was formed in the spring of 2022 between a music teacher and his former guitar student from ten years prior who had recently graduated from Berklee College of Music. A Wood Flower performance mixes original songs with Bluegrass classics and an occasional outside the box cover tune. \nMore Information
