SUMMARY:The DelCobras/The Ant. and Ang. Band/Wash\, Re-wash
DESCRIPTION:DelCobras – 2025 is the year of the snake\, and also the year DelCobras have chosen to slither onto the Philadelphia rock scene and take the world by storm with their three headed Power Pop. \nDelCobras is comprised of Jim “Scoopski” Lorino\, Marc Schuster\, and Nick Cervini. The 3 were also members of the live iteration of the band Scoopski. The trio decided to continue playing music together after Scoopski returned back to being a solely home recording project. So\, the trio shed their old skin\, decided to try on some new skin in their snakey green suits\, and take on a slighly more aggressive yet also more straightforward sound. \nThe band’s first single “The Turnaround” is a rocking\, rousing Power-Pop anthem of self redemption. Inspired by the Phillies/Trea Turner Netflix documentary of the same name\, Lorino wrote a relatable\, hard hitting rocker about overcoming adversity and re-finding yourself. \nChange can be scary\, but don’t fear the cobra. \nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram   \nThe Ant & Ang Band – A funky blues-rock group from Philadelphia\, PA\, known for high-energy live shows and a growing following\, with sold-out performances at The Fire\, Silk City\, and The Gem earning them a reputation for tight grooves\, strong vocals\, and engaging performances. Recorded with producers Obie O’Brien and Mike Lawson and mastered by Phil Nicolo\, the band has built momentum around standout tracks like “Dancing in France” and “Cotton Candy Clouds\,” now staples of their live set. \nFacebook I Instagram \nWash\, Re-Wash – Wash\, Re-Wash is an experimental rock band that blends feeling and soul with limitless musical freedom. \nFacebook I Instagram \n  \nTICKETS AND MORE INFO

SUMMARY:Harbor/M Sparks and the Northbounders/Vernon Papers
DESCRIPTION:Harbor –  Harbor was formed in 2023 during a dark and lonely winter by Graham and Kev. Both going through some serious life changing nonsense at-the time\,they decided to put what they had into music and what you hear are real songs about loss\, life and recovering whatever was left of that righteous light that we all look for .Though not always a comfortable walk it does catch the mood of someone looking for more than a bar and one night stands. You can’t always wash everything away with whiskey. Their soon to be released album -songs for the walking wounded – sheds a little glimpse into the downside of things. Backed by some of Nashville’s best to boot this album is a rainy Sunday morning kinda vibe with glimpses of sunshine. \nFacebook \n\nM Sparks and The Northbounders- In the enchanting realm of folk-inspired storytelling\, M Sparks emerges as a captivating newcomer\, wielding a musical pen dipped in sincerity. Michael’s music has been influenced by such artists as Townes Van Zandt and John Prine. His new EP\, “Fish Crow” was recently released this February. \nInstagram | Facebook \n  \nVernon Papers – The music is called Vernon Papers\, from singer-songwriter\, composer and multi-\ninstrumentalist Drew Shanefield. Coming from a musical family in Philadelphia\, Drew grew up playing trumpet and guitar and has spent his life immersed in music as a performer\, teacher\, composer\, and songwriter. \nIn the studio\, Drew plays every instrument and sings every vocal track. On stage\, theVernon Papers experience is largely a solo one. An acoustic\, an electric and a notebook full of musings. The sound at times can be raw and from the depths\, and at other times\nvulnerable and thoughtful. \nAlways from the heart. He is a member of the Philadelphia Folksong Society Musical Artists Cooperative and the Philadelphia Area Songwriters’ Alliance and is happy to make his debut at the Mill at Rockdale. \nInstagram | Facebook \nTICKETS AND MORE INFO

SUMMARY:Haunted Like Human with Special Guests: The Honey Badgers
DESCRIPTION:Haunted Like Human  – Mythology evokes images of gods\, titans\, demons\, and beasts of every kind. Yet\, it’s the spark of humanity that keeps us telling and retelling myths. It’s these stories of seduction\, inheritance\, and hubris that Nashville-based folk duo Haunted Like Human rekindle in the 14 songs on their third album American Mythology. \nSince the release of 2021’s Tall Tales & Fables\, Dale Chapman and Cody Clark have been refining their sound rather than departing from it. With a background in poetry and prose\, Dale Chapman’s granular focus on language is simpatico with Cody Clark’s background in classical guitar\, where each note carries its own weight. The result is a shapely set of songs that borrow from universal lore in order to reveal intimate truths. The pair prove they write songs like novelists write their books\, using careful detail and well-shaped characters to tell even the heaviest of stories. Whatever the topic\, the songs shine with restrained arrangements and entwined harmonies. This duo tells stories so well that there’s no need to cloak them with heavy-handed production or vocal processing. Instead\, Haunted Like Human lets the humanity shine through. \nPraise for their new album American Mythology: “Through its piercing limericks about human existence in all its shades\, from downtrodden tumbleweeds to love-strewn epics\, the record arrives at a time when everything feels so hopeless. It’s within their art that you can discover slivers of hope that can reignite the thirst for living.” – Rainbow Rodeo \nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram \n\nThe Honey Badgers- The Honey Badgers (Erin Magnin and Michael Natrin) invite you into their world the minute they step on stage. Combining radical vulnerability\, humor in just the right moments\, and a perfect vocal blend honed over the past decade\, the two storytellers build a space where listeners can reconnect with themselves\, their feelings\, and the truest parts of being a human in a complicated time. For folks who love thoughtful lyrics\, fun fiddle solos\, and sparkling harmonies\, The Honey Badgers are sure to deliver. \nThe duo recently released their second full-length album\, “The Earth Turns and So Do We”\, a mature and varied collection of original songs focused on the repeating cycles of life\, death\, love\, and time itself. The album reached #15 on the July 2024 FAI Folk Radio Chart. A song from the album\, “Bring With You Nothing\,” won Gold in the Folk Category and 3rd place overall in the 2025 SAW Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. After winning the 2023 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist Showcase and the 2024 Susquehanna Folk Festival Emerging Artist Showcase\, “emerging” has become a guiding light for the two musicians. \nWebsite I Facebook | Instagram \n  \nTICKETS AND MORE INFO

SUMMARY:Blush - Polaroid Fade - Calling From Pluto
DESCRIPTION:Blush- A six-piece pop/jazz/rock band based in Philadelphia\, PA. Inspired by the city’s vibrant jazz community and energetic diy house show scene\, the six college friends strived to develop a sound that combined their favorite genres. No matter what type of music you’re into\, their hypnotizing saxophone melodies and lyrics are guaranteed to make all listeners blush. \nInstagram | Facebook \n\nPolaroid Fade – Polaroid Fade was formed out of a love for bands like The Smiths\, The Sundays and The Ocean Blue. This new project hints back to 90’s indie rock and all the fun of no frills\, no glitz jangle pop. \nWebsite | Instagram | Facebook \nCalling From Pluto –  Combining clever lyricism with experimental melodies\, their songs examine the depth of the human experience. They are challenging the status quo with music that doesn’t fit just one genre. Instead\, they blend them all together. Their diverse backgrounds of music are reflected in their style. \n\nComing off of the success of their first released double-single\, Teeth/Pluto\, and the acclaimed reception of their debut album\, Reframed\, Calling From Pluto is currently working on showing up all around the East Coast on tour. Having only been playing together for a little over a year\, the band has already made a name for themselves in the South Jersey music scene as a genre-blending band. \n\nWebsite | Instagram | Facebook \nTICKETS AND MORE INFO

SUMMARY:Funk Brunch with New Pony Funk and The Sermon!
DESCRIPTION:The Sermon! –  Classic Soul\, Funk\, Jazz & Beyond \nFacebook \n\nNew Pony Funk – A tight\, powerful band with some serious muscle.  As influences\, they cite The Meters\, Tower of Power\, Dumpstaphunk\, The Isley Brothers\, Sly and the Family Stone\, but when all is said and done NPF is a home-grown Philly Original.  The members of NPF all met at a monthly music showcase at the now-defunct Tritone in 2005. When they met\, each was doing their own thing\, but as it so often goes at these events\, they ended up sitting in with each other for an impromptu set.  After the set\, one thing led to another\, and they got together for a few rehearsals\, worked up a set’s worth of material\, and played their first show at the same music showcase the next month.  And now\, much to everyone’s surprise\, nearly 18 years and about 1000 shows later\, New Pony Funk is still going strong. \nIn their years together\, NPF has opened for Bonerama\, The George Porter Trio\, Bernie Worrell\, The Budos Band\, and Papa Grows Funk\, they’ve played at any number of local and regional festivals\, and until COVID came along\, they were one of the featured acts at BlocktoberFest for 7 years straight. \nWebsite | Facebook \nBuy Tickets
