We invite you to discover why Texas wassuch a hotbed of slavery after its legal end\, dive into the importance of General Orders\, No. 3\, and delve into the real cultural significance of an African American tradition that spans generations. \nBlack Magic Woman Productions grew out of a need to create opportunities for theatre artists of color. Since 2006\, BMW Productions has promoted an appreciation for the African-American theatre canon.
