Virtual Concert: Violinist Julian Rhee & Pianist Chelsea Wang

Tri County Concerts offers a virtual encore of the wonderful concert Julian Rhee and Chelsea Wang performed live for us last winter featuring works for violin and piano by Beethoven, Schubert, Clara Schumann, and more. Julian has been praised by The Strad for his “sophisticated, assured tone” and “showmanship that thrills audiences.” He recently won an 2024 Avery Fisher Career Grant and a prize at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition to add to his Silver Medal at the 11th Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis and first prizes at the 2023 New England Conservatory Concerto Competition and 2021 Astral Artists National Auditions. Chelsea, whom The New York Times called “an excellent young pianist,” is a prizewinner and finalist of the Seoul, Washington, and New York International Piano and the Schubert Club Scholarship Competitions, and many more.
