Michael Houtz is an art director, editorial designer and illustrator currently based in New York City. He has worked with publications like The Atlantic, Esquire, New York Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Netflix’s Queue and The New York Times Opinion as well as branding agencies like Pentagram, The Heads of State, and Standard Black creating visual identity systems and experiences for clients in a broad-range of industries.
His conceptual photo-illustrations have been featured in publications like The Atlantic, The Baffler, The Economist, Esquire, Fortune, The New York Times, Politico, Vanity Fair, and Wired UK.
Michael Houtz is a former Delaware County Community College graphic design major, and graduate of Tyler School of Art & Architecture.
