Tri-County Concerts presents celebrated young pianist Nathan Lee

$20 – $25Our season’s Emerging Artists Series ends with the “prodigiously talented” and “brilliant” (The New York Times) Nathan Lee performing piano works by Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, and more.
Nathan has been thrilling audiences and impressing critics and judges since he was very young, playing with technique and a depth of musical expression well beyond his years.
Now 22, he won First Prize in the 2016 Young Concert Artists International Auditions and the special Tabor Foundation Award at the 2019 Verbier Festival Academy. He began playing the piano at age six, made his orchestral debut at age nine, has appeared with the Cleveland Orchestra and numerous others, and made acclaimed New York and Kennedy Center recital debuts at age 16.
He is from the Seattle area, where he studied with Sasha Starcevich; has also worked with Craig Sheppard, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and Ilana Vered; and graduated from The Curtis Institute of Music last year, where he was a student of Robert McDonald.
