The Cartoonists

The Cartoonists pairs the artwork of Andy Heck Boyd and Beth Heinly; two cartoonists who create artwork beyond their comics. Andy and Beth create art through various mediums, including performance art, sound, collage, painting, sculpture, digital art, and film, while engaging small audiences via their social media profiles.

The included cartoonists aim to showcase their experimental artworks through an installation that pairs their lo-fi, D.I.Y. complementary styles of creation, both originating from a conceptual approach to making art. Like Comic Art, Conceptual Art is inspired by the written word. The exhibition will feature small works such as on paper, paintings, zines, sculpture, and sound.
