Something Rotten

Players Club of Swarthmore presents Something Rotten

Book By Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell
Music and Lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick
Conceived by Karey Kirkpatrick and Wayne Kirkpatrick
Directed by: Anthony SanFilippo

Brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom want their names to be up there with the best of the best playwrights of the Renaissance, but their plays always seem to be overshadowed by “The Bard.” A local soothsayer looks into the future and clues them into the next big thing: musicals! As the brothers attempt to create an entirely new artform, they and those around them learn an important lesson about staying true to oneself. Packed with big showstoppers and gags galore, Something Rotten! is poised to be your favorite musical of the last six centuries.

Something Rotten! is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

Parental Advisory: Something Rotten! contains some mature language and may not be appropriate for young children.
