In this one-day workshop, we’ll learn 3 simple binding styles to start off your exploration into bookbinding. An accordion book, a sewn pamphlet, and a sewn Asian stab-binding will introduce folding, scoring, cutting, glue-ing, measuring, covering boards, and stitching techniques that will be useful in all future bookbinding projects. You’ll leave with 3 volumes to fill with words and/or images or to give as gifts.

Please bring a pair of scissors, a metal-edged ruler, and, if you have one, an X-acto knife. If not we can share.
