Week 1: Friday, May 22nd | 5pm – 9pm
Week 2: Friday, May 29th | 6pm – 7pm
In this two-part ceramics experience, you’ll learn the basics of wheel throwing while creating your own set of handmade ice cream bowls—then come back the following week to enjoy them in the sweetest way possible.
Week One: Get hands-on at the pottery wheel as you’re guided through forming and shaping your own bowls. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to get back into clay, this session focuses on foundational throwing techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Your pieces will then be trimmed, glazed, and fired by the studio.
Week Two: Return to pick up your finished bowls and celebrate at a community ice cream social! Test out your handmade creations with a scoop (or two), connect with fellow participants, and enjoy the simple joy of using something you made yourself.
What to Expect:

No prior experience needed—just come ready to get a little messy and have a lot of fun.
Recommended for ages 10+, with anyone age 10-13 welcome with an accompanying adult to supervise 1-on-1 for the duration of the class.
