A weekend to go behind-the-scenes at Rose Valley’s storied theatre.

Screenings of “The Hedgerow Story: A Repertory Theatre” a documentary film produced in 1948 by the U.S. State Department (18 mins)

Theatre Tours
Venture through our 19th century grist mill-turned-theatre and hear historic accounts drawn from Hedgerow’s 99-year history.

Tours involve stairs, except where noted.

“Playing in the Hedgerows: Lessons of Light”
Lecture by Penelope Reed

An insightful presentation of Hedgerow’s vibrant history by our celebrated Artistic Director Emeritus.

Gallery & Lobby Exhibit
Experience artifacts from the University of Pennsylvania’s Van Pelt Library Archives and a rotating virtual exhibit in the theatre lobby and second floor gallery. Guests are invited to share their own experiences and insights about Hedgerow through an interactive lobby display. Open throughout the weekend.

Open House events are free, but space is limited. Register in advance for the film screenings and tours to ensure availability.
