Friday Night Live winter/spring season kicks off with a special performance celebrating the legendary Philly jazz guitarist Pat Martino.

Beloved and highly respected Philadelphia guitarist Greg Kettinger will lead an organ trio through an evening of music celebrating Pat Martino and his career. Greg will be joined by Dave Mattock (organ), and Matt Smallcomb (drums).

The 2022 Friday Night Live series is presented by PNC Bank.

Greg Kettinger has been teaching jazz aural skills courses at Temple since 1989. He has since taught theory, improv, arranging, and private guitar and theory lessons. His other duties include conducting the Temple University Lab Band, directing small ensembles and sitting on audition and jury panels. He also performs 200 dates a year with many acclaimed international, national and local musicians. His work on several recent recordings has garnered praise from critics in Downbeat magazine, ! the Philadelphia Inquirer and independent websites.

SEATING:

This concert will be held in the large art gallery. Seating is provided, including some tables and some concert style seats in rows. Seating selected on a first come, first served basis.

FOOD/DRINK:

These events are typically BYOB. Attendees can also bring food.
