Family Live Arts Cultural Series: Colombian Festival

Escape the winter blahs and bring the family to celebrate the vibrant colors and heritage of Colombia!
The Colombian Festival will feature an interactive celebration of the country’s traditional music, dance and culinary tastes in the next installment of our Family Live Arts Cultural Series.
Colombia Mi Corazon es Tuyo, a folkloric, intergenerational and artistic dance group from Delaware County, will perform live music and dances highlighting different regions of the country. The audience will even be given an opportunity to learn some basic salsa steps!
Festival goers will also be invited to sample delicious traditional treats of empanadas and plantains, and children will learn about the traditions, customs and culture of Colombia through displays and a craft.
This event is geared toward families with children 2-12 years old but adults without children are welcome too! It is pay-what-you-wish with a suggested donation of $25 per family/$5 per person. Please be sure to RSVP at the link provided.
