Blue Jay Painting Workshop

Join artist Kathy Agostinelli in painting a beautiful Blue Jay while exploring the rich range of blues found in nature.
Students will work with a variety of tints, tones, and values to capture the bird’s distinctive plumage, paying close attention to color temperature, light and shadow.
Emphasis will be placed on layering, subtle color shifts, and value contrasts to create depth, form and realism, resulting in a lively and expressive portrait of this striking bird.
All levels of experience welcome. $45
