Beadmaking – Oldies but Goodies: (Two-day workshop, Saturday & Sunday, June 27 & 28) 9AM-5PM.
Prerequisite: Some glass bead making experience.
Join a class of adventuresome bead makers to explore, experiment, and apply glass bead techniques that have their roots in the earliest years of the American bead making movement. Several retired beadmakers have even provided insider info and tips for reviving their techniques! Together we will learn about beadmakers from the past, their style and technique, and apply that knowledge to developing new creative applications in the flameworking studio. Jeri welcomes your input on areas of concern/interest. Students are invited to bring photos, books or websites that raise questions about particular soft glass styles and techniques.
