Lansdowne’s Homecoming Celebrates LGBTQIA+ Domesticity, Joy, and Resilience in Uncertain Times
The LEDC’s Art Committee invites you to join us for a Panel Discussion with select artists from Homecoming on Saturday, May 24, from 5-6.30 PM at the 20th Century Club in Lansdowne, PA.
This panel discussion will be facilitated by curator, Meg Wolensky, and focus on how the included artists have used their art to discover themselves and build community. Artists participating in the panel include Susan DiPronio, Chelsey Luster, Mitch Wiesen, Jamison Mead and more TBD.
Homecoming brings together 20 artists from the Greater Philadelphia Area whose work invokes the comforts and complications of LGBTQIA+ domestic life across intersectional and intergenerational perspectives. Each artist centralizes LGBTQIA+ experience in their work, carving space for themselves and their kin, by blood or chosen bond, to exist, thrive and survive.
