Join us for the public reception of Out of Context at the Kiosk Gallery in Lansdowne!
We live in a world taken out of context. Images, text, videos and music are just a few examples of things taken from one source and used in another source for a new meaning. I use words and phrases taken from a social context and change them into design elements for a visual image. Alteration, sublimation and erasure change the original meaning into an abstract design with the word ultimately obliterated.
The compositions in these paintings have no resting ground and live in a floating unattached state.
